Tru Form Precision Manufacturing was started in 1968 as a form grinding facility known throughout the New England Region as the experts on tight tolerance machining and inspection.   This foundation of tight tolerance precision machining and stringent quality control has remained as the backbone of the company as the business has expanded and evolved to keep pace with the dynamic manufacturing industry over the years.

In the late 80’s, after almost 20 years in the precision grinding specialty field, Tru Form purchased their first Wire EDM machine as a compliment to their already established precision machining business.  Over the years EDM (electrical discharge machining), both wire and conventional, has been the pillar of the machining process at Tru Form. The next several years saw a steady expansion of the business, built on a philosophy that QUALITY always comes first.

In 2001 Tru Form decided to use their precision machining skills to provide turnkey complete electrical-mechanical solutions.  With the addition of dedicated climate controlled clean assembly space, customers not longer had to purchase and plan complex projects with multiple vendors, Tru Form was able to provide this complete project planning for them. At this time, one of the leading ERP software packages available, Visual Manufacturing by Infor, was implemented.  All business systems including order entry, engineering, manufacturing, accounting and quality are controlled by our ERP system providing an essential business tool.

As fixed price and reactivity demands increased by customers, 2012 brought forth the purchase of Two Mazak Horizontal machines with 28 dedicated pallets that allowed Tru Form to better partner with their customers on blanket/kan ban orders.  These machines allowed them to provide an “on demand” “lights out” manufacturing solution thus reducing set up times, delivery times and essentially eliminating variable pricing once dependent on lot sizes.

Finally in 2014 Tru Form relocated their facility to an ultra-modern 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility 1.5 miles north of the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border in Plaistow, NH.  This move has allowed for continued expansion in areas including clean assembly space and the doubling of the horizontal machining areas to provide more “on demand” lights out manufacturing.
